Leeds. The day the UAF met their match.

Saturday 1st December was the day when the Anti-British Unite against Freedom (UAF) met their match by a group of around 30 dedicated Nationalists from Yorkshire who went to Leeds and gained entry into the UAF's meeting. The Nationalists arranged to meet up at the train station in Leeds City Centre at 10:30am, They then proceeded to the Swarthmore Centre, 2-7 Woodhouse Square, Leeds LS3 1AD, While on route the group we're informed that the UAF occasionally met at a well known venue called The Well. The Well was closed so no protest could take place there so they went on to the well broad casted meeting place in Woodhouse Square. The theme of this behind closed doors meeting was to try and muster support to try and oust the Yorkshire and Humber MEP Mr Andrew Brons. Once at the building the Nationalists gained entry through the un-locked door and we're straight away approached by what looked like a volunteer worker, but after he was asked about the UAF's meeting he was reluctant to divulge any sort of information about the meeting, he was followed to a room and once the door was opened it was plain to see that the contingent of the UAF we're sat in the room. Some well known fascists we're spotted, fascists like Waymen Bennett who incidentally took offence of the Nationalists being there so he grabbed a chair and made threats to throw the chair at the Nationalists but he was quickly told to put the chair down, then suddenly the whole room erupted and the fascists tried to block the door by what ever means they could, they started to hurl abuse at the Nationalists with words like ''NAZI SCUM'' and ''YOU'RE THE REAL FASCISTS''. The Nationalists stood their ground in the 15 minute confrontation, then a lady who actually worked at the centre said she was going to call the Police.

After a few minutes the Nationalists decided to go outside and stage a peaceful protest, after about 10 minutes the Police arrived in 5 police cars, the Police asked the question why the Nationalists we're there, and the reply they got was, that inside the building was a group of Communist, Anti-British traitors who we're planning to oust Mr Brons, the Police didn't have any idea who the UAF we're or what their goal was until it was made clear to them, the Police we're informed that the UAF are a dangerous organisation whose members are paid thugs by the Establishment and that they are funded by the Prime Minister David Cameron and other MP's, trade unions and other organisations. The Police said as long as the protest was peaceful and no criminal damage or threats we're carried out then they we're happy top facilitate the protest.

The guest speaker at this meeting was Jon Trickett MP, the Labour MP for the Hemsworth constituency in West Yorkshire, Trickett has been a long standing supporter of the UAF and his name appears on the founding signatures list. Jon Trickett is a Socialist and travels everywhere in the UK speaking and canvassing for the Labour party, who then probably claims his travel expenses back without the electorate knowing. NO MP WHAT-SO-EVER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO BACK OR SUPPORT ANY ORGANISATION THAT BREAKS CLAUSE 15 OF THE ELECTION ACT 1275, ''ELECTIONS ARE TO BE FREE, AND NO MAN IS BY FORCE, MALICE OR MENACE TO DISTURB THEM''. WHICH THE UAF CLEARLY DOES..

The Labour MP & Asylum seekers.

Jon Trickett MP for Hemsworth, on the 24th June Jon spoke at Wakefield's
Refugee's and
Asylum seekers Advocacy 's (RASA) annual refugee week about how to maintain
integration with Refugees and  Asylum seekers in the face of financial cuts. RASA is a
Multi-cultural organisation offering free and confidential advice and support service for
Asylum Seekers and Refugee's in a range of specialist topics including: Immigration,
assistance with National Asylum Support  Service (NASS), welfare benefits,
employment, health and housing. The events varied from street celebrations for all
( why wasn't the Indigenous population notified ?), conferences, engaging
people topics addressing immigration, awe inspiring events, and a picnic in
Wakefield's Sculpture Park.

In his presentation, Jon spoke about the Labour Party's official views on the topic
and connected with the audience by giving personal stories about his experiences
with Asylum seekers and Refugee's. These ranged from stories of Jon's
grandmother,
 who was a refugee from Eastern Europe. That explains his stance on the English. 

RASA gets funding from the National Lottery, and Wakefield Council from 
2009 have been donating £5000 a year towards this organisation. Labour 
Councillor Laurie Harrison has denied that this RASA organisation ever 
existed and that he denied funding was given, so a Freedom of Information 
request was sent and here is their reply.

RASA receives the majority of its funding from the National Lottery and they were awarded a 3 year grant in 2009 which expires in March 2012. It was a condition of the grant that they receive some match funding from the Local Authority and the Council agreed to contribute £5k per annum for the term of the grant. This is a contribution to the rent of the building where they provide a range of advice and welfare services to refugees, asylum seekers and the wider community of Wakefield and District. The Council has not made any financial commitment beyond 2012.
