Daniel Stringer and his family have reacted furiously at the justice system after they heard that Ali Haydor had applied for an early release. Coward Haydor fronted a gang assault which left Daniel with sickening injuries which included a fractured skull and fractured eye sockets.
Daniel was struck at least twice by Haydor, before other Muslim animals repeatedly kicked and punched him. Takeaway worker Haydor, of Croft Street, Hyde, pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to two years in December 2012.
However, he has now applied to the Parole Board for an early release on an electronic tag, and could be released as early as next month. Daniel, from Woodley, Stockport, said the development was an insult to him and his family.
He said: “He should serve the full entitlement that he was ordered to serve – but 14 weeks is nothing. I feel it is a bit of an insult for the damage he’s done.”
Daniel’s irate mother Cheryl, said “Daniel has got a life sentence and he spends just 14 weeks inside. It’s a joke. The whole system is wrong.”
Daniel, who is a trainee baker at Tameside College, and a friend were attacked, for no other reason than being white, by a group of Muslim cowards in Hyde town centre in February last year.
Surgeons have had to rebuild Daniel’s cheek with a metal plate and he has had a long, arduous wait to find out if his eyesight would return.
He also needed two new eye sockets, but now one is sinking back into his skull and he could need further surgery. If Haydor’s application is granted, he will have spent 14 weeks in jail for almost kicking a young innocent youth to death because of the colour of his skin.
Final thought
This was a race hate crime, no other words for it and this coward should be spending at least 20 years in prison before he can apply for parole, Daniel Stringer will carry this attack and injuries around for life.
