A delegation from Wakefield & 5 Towns British National Party travelled to Toxteth in Liverpool 29th September 2011 to meet up with other members of the British National Party to stage a demonstration outside the venue for the BBC's Question Time.
Once there they were not so much greeted but faced an Anti-Democratic gang of thugs and mis-fits funded by the 3 main political parties. The police were out in force to make sure law and order was obeyed, much to their surprise the police just stood back and watched the opposition hurls threats and insults at the peaceful members of the British National Party. At about 6pm the hand picked audience started to arrive. The British National Party's ever popular ''Truth Truck'' was driving around the venue with the sound of Nick Griffin the party's Chairman blasting out of the 4 massive speakers on the truck. During the demonstration a member of the Liverpool branch of the British National Party was approached by a member of the UAF holding a knife, when this was reported to the police they just said they didnt see anything. Bricks were thrown at the ''Truth Truck'' and yet again the police did nothing.
The party's National Organiser Mr Adam Walker was in high spirits with a constant barrage of truths blurting out on his loud haler, The event was co/organised by Mr Mike Whitby the North West's Regional Organiser who said '' This is the way we should do things to get our Chairman back on the Question Time programme''.
Moving the Goalposts
In 1999 the BBC were asked when Question Time would feature a British National Party spokesman ? The BBC's answer was '' when you have elected councillors''
In 2003 the BBC were asked : Now the British National Party has elected councillors when would Nick Griffin be on Question Time ?. The BBC's answer : we've changed the rules. Now a party has to have at least 50 councillors to get on.
In 2006, the BBC were asked : Now the British National Party has more than 50 councillors, when will Nick Griffin be on Question Time ?. The BBC's answer : We've changed the rules. Now a party has to have at least one member elected to a devolved Government Assembly to get on.
In 2008, The BBC were asked : Now the British National Party has a member elected onto the Greater London Assembly, when will Nick Griffin be on Question Time ?. The BBC's answer : We've changed the rules. Now a party has to have elected MEP's or MP's to get on, and then it will get at least two (2) appearances a year.
In 2009, the BBC were asked : Now the British National Party has two (2) MEP's, when will Nick Griffin be on Question Time ?. The BBC's answer : To change to Question Time format for the first time in 34 years, ambush Nick Griffin with a lynch mob - and then deny the public the four (4) subsequent appearance's the party should've had in the last two (2) years.
